A Message from the President of APALA, Hans Pfeil

04/24/2020

The community, Nova Scotia, Canada and the World is heart broken.

On behalf of the Atlantic Provinces Association of Landscape Architects (APALA), I would like to extend my heartfelt sympathy to all who have lost their loved ones in this senseless tragedy last weekend in and around the community of Portapique, NS.

Even mother nature displayed its grief and respect in a most wonderful way on Monday evening.

We would like to open our hearts as well and offer our support during this most difficult time. We are ready to support any ideas of creating a meaningful place in the community for everyone to show their respect and have a place to display their way of grieving. We want to make sure loved ones are never forgotten and create a place where positive memories live on.

A broken limb needs help and time to heal.

Sincerely,
APALA
